Making a name that works
Most games and apps cap display names somewhere between 12 and 32 characters, and every symbol in a frame counts. ꧁༺ ༻꧂ alone costs six characters including the spaces, so on a 16-character limit your name gets about ten.
Some symbols render differently by device: 亗 and デ come from Chinese and Japanese fonts and look heavier on Android than on iPhone. The compatibility checker lists every character’s Unicode block so you can spot the risky ones.

Can I use a stylish name as my game username?
It depends on the game. Many games (Free Fire, PUBG Mobile, Roblox display names) accept some Unicode symbols, but most block combining marks and very rare characters. Try the name in the game’s rename screen before paying for a rename card.
